Many Vancouver and Whistler residents would like to rent or exchange their properties during the winter games.
Both Tourism Whistler and Tourism Vancouver announced that commercial room availability during the 2010 Olympics will be a challenge to individual travelers and tour operators.
Walt Judas, VP of Marketing Communications & 2010 strategies suggests non-tourist accommodations such as private homes will “pick up the slack.”
