Jane lives in Vancouver with her two Jack Russell Terriers, Spike and Daisy, and currently writes for several magazines and newspapers, including Modern Dog Magazine and Dogs in Canada. (In her past life she was a veterinarian assistant.) She also writes travel stories and takes her furry family along whenever possible but sometimes they can't always be together. Fortunately, Jane has always found friends to stay with Spike and Daisy so they don't have to leave home, but one of these days...

Pet Sit & Go was conceived out of necessity; like many other pet lovers she knows, Jane doesn't want to kennel her dogs (they are getting older and set in their ways) and it can get expensive for a freelance writer!

Claire's passionate about animals, and most passionate about her ginger tom Tazz — whose likeness you may have noticed on the pages of this site. As a medical journalist, Claire has spent most of the last decade traveling the world for work, and understands all too the well challenges of having a pet and having to travel — loving to travel, in fact.

Claire is also passionate about animal welfare and conservation. In 1992 she had the good fortune to be involved in a conservation project on the Belizian barrier reef, a project which resulted in the reef receiving UNESCO World Heritage status. Claire hopes that by providing a means by which peoples' pets can be well taken care of, Pet Sit & Go will help provide its members with similar opportunities for extraordinary travel and adventure.
